Coming soon! This resource will be available in Fall 2026 and is available for pre-order. The medium wall cards use the same design as our large wall set, but the cards are a smaller size for smaller groups or classroom environments with limited wall space.

This medium wall set displays all 45 English phonemes and their most important spelling patterns at a size designed for whole-class instruction. Each card is large enough for students to reference from their seats, making phoneme-to-spelling (grapheme) connections visible, consistent, and always present in your learning environment.

• Grades 3–5 (Set C): 120+ graphemes including advanced spelling patterns for upper elementary

About the Design:

Each card anchors to a phoneme — not a letter — consistent with how skilled readers decode words, store words in memory, and spell words. This phoneme-first approach aligns with any structured literacy or Science of Reading-based phonics program. Designed by Dr. Steve Underwood, a nationally respected literacy leader with decades of experience helping educators improve early reading instruction, these cards use visual structure, color-coding, and positional cues to build accuracy and understanding.

The keyword images on each card were custom-commissioned and created by Camille Dunn, a gifted young artist who created the illustrations specifically for this product while still in high school. Every image was chosen to represent each phoneme clearly, memorably, and beautifully.

As a small business, we print wall sets in small batches rather than carrying a large supply. If the item shows as out of stock, please purchase it as a pre-order. A new batch will be printed within 14 business days of your pre-order, and you can expect it to ship within 30 days.

*The set includes a total of 46 cards. The card for the sound /k/ is repeated for classroom organization to have a card for the alphabetic positions of both C and K.

**The Kindergarten set includes a card for each phoneme. Cards typically taught in Grade 1 or beyond (e.g., r-controlled vowels and diphthongs), only have the header and keyword image and no graphemes. This sets the expectation that students will learn more about those cards later.
