About the Design:

Each card anchors to a phoneme — not a letter — consistent with how skilled readers store words in memory. This phoneme-first approach aligns with any structured literacy or Science of Reading-based phonics program.

The keyword images on each card were custom-commissioned from Camille Dunn, a gifted young artist who created the illustrations specifically for this product while still in high school. Every image was chosen to represent each phoneme clearly, memorably, and beautifully.
